The Telugu movie “Salaar” was released at the end of the year 2023. Salaar stars Prabhas and Prithviraj as its 2 main characters along with Shruti Haasan as its female lead. This is an epic piece of drama, action, and thriller which has a very peaceful start.
Deva, played by Prabhas and his mother, lives in Tinsukia, Assam near the coal mines. They have been changing houses from place to place over the years. He was brought up to be a mechanic very safely by his mom and she let no evil come near him. But one day in his workplace, he had to save Aadhya, played by Shruti Haasan from Obulamma, played by Jhansi.
While he fights his own battles, his childhood friend Vardha, Prithviraj Sukumaran invites him to help him with his own. Vardha’s father, Rajah Mannar, who is in another city, gets into a war with several foreign armies. This was due to a war aroused by the ministers and advisors that Raja Mannar (Vardha’s father), played by Jagapathi Babu, trusts. They would not allow Vardha to gain Raja’s succession. Little by little the plot expands and gives birth to a war that puts their full family and wealth in danger.
Because of the strong bond in their friendship, which was more of a brotherhood, Deva steps in to help Vardha and his father defeat their enemies. This is while Vardha’s sister Radha had called a ceasefire of 9 days to hold a vote about their choices. However, the ceasefire does not remain under control as agreed. And Deva’s presence changes many things that would otherwise happen to the family. But, will Deva be able to save Vardha and his family from this mess, or not?
Final Words
The overall movie is a masterpiece of violence and action. This can be called to share the same genre as KGF which became a number 1 hit of the year. Those who loved the epic violence of that movie can definitely enjoy Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire even more.
